Wool tapestry, 'Plum Fields'

Captivating colors recall a field of ripening plum trees, with artist Cerapio Vallejo celebrating another of Mother Earth's gifts. The silent movement of leaves further accentuates the composition. Vallejo executes this tapestry on a traditional handloom with wool previous tinted with synthetic dyes. The tapestry is finished by hand with cotton. Titled "Campo de ciruelas" in Spanish.
